Upland Bird Hunting
The Mille Lacs Hunting Lodge offers its guests hundreds of acres of ideal hunting upland habitat. Fields are planted and groomed to provide ideal hunting cover. During the Fall we stock hard flying pheasants and chukar partridge for some of the best hunting in the Midwest.
HUNTING RATES
The Mille Lacs Hunting Lodge is a full service facility that offers its guests sporting clays, hunting gear and shells, meals, lodging, and bird cleaning. Hunting is open to the public, memberships are also available. No license or pheasant stamp is required, making it especially convenient for out-of-state guests. All hunters must wear blaze orange, protective eyewear is recommended.
Fishing
If fishing is on your agenda, the lodge is located just 5 miles from Mille Lacs Lake. Mille Lacs is the 3rd largest lake in Minnesota and has long been one of the finest walleye lakes in the entire United States. More recently Mille Lacs has also become known as a premier muskie fishery. These fish have grown to tremendous size feeding on the huge tulibee and perch population that also make Mille Lacs their home. Late summer and early Fall are peak time for muskie creating a great opportunity for a combination hunting and fishing trip.
